OGAE Song Contest 2008

The 2008 OGAE Song Contest was organized by OGAE Spain.
Members of Eurofest Croatia (OGAE Croatia) voted Franka Batelic to represent our country at SC with the song Ruža u kamenu (Rose in the stone).

Running order was decided by the public draw. Croatia was to open OGAE SC 2008. And it was not only that we opened it, but we won it!!!! This is the first Croatian victory on this Contest since it was established in 1986.
Macedonia was disqualified due to the breach of the rules. Macedonian OGAE club sent a song "Creša" (Cherry) which is a remix of one not so old Croatian song.
